General provisions and administrative procedures
This document applies to tenants and occupants of the chalets and/or the multipurpose room of the Village du Falgouët, located at 11 avenue du Casino in Andernos-les-Bains, owned by PEP 33 (departmental association of Pupils of public education of Gironde whose administrative headquarters is located at 70 rue du Château d'Eau 33000 BORDEAUX) and managed by the Centre de Mer et d'EDD, 130 avenue de Bordeaux in Andernos-les-Bains.
The payment of a deposit or the full amount of the cost of the stay implies acceptance of these conditions.
Membership in PEP 33
Membership in PEP 33 is MANDATORY to benefit from the association's services.
It allows you to contribute to the association's solidarity actions.
One member per rented chalet is required (membership details: https://www.lespep33.org/adherez.html).
Billing & Payment
- PAYMENT IN ONE PAYMENT ONLY.
Total amount of the service to be paid at the time of your booking.
- IN SEVERAL INSTALLMENTS:
A 30% deposit is required upon booking. The balance must be paid no later than 1 month before arrival.
Rates & tourist tax
The prices for services are applicable for the current year. They are quoted in euros including VAT.
A municipal tourist tax will be calculated based on the number of people present and will appear on the invoice (in accordance with the regulations of the municipality of Andernos-les-Bains).
Security deposit
A security deposit of €400 per chalet and/or multipurpose room will be required at the time of booking, for any damage caused to the rental.
A security deposit of €80 per chalet and/or multipurpose room will also be required at the time of booking for cleaning if the rental is not left clean.
Security deposits are not cashed. Checks will be destroyed at the end of the rental period, provided the conditions have been met.
Cancellation conditions and eligible amounts
Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
1. Cancellation before arrival: the deposit remains with the owner. a) If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the balance of the stay will be charged. b) If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, 50% of the balance of the stay will be charged.
2. Any interrupted or shortened stay or any unused service due to the tenant, for any reason whatsoever, will not give rise to any refund.
3. In the event of cancellation by us, all sums received will be refunded (excluding membership fees).
Cleaning
Cleaning and tidying can be arranged by PEP 33. This additional service, costing €80, must be requested when making your reservation. Even if you book a cleaning package, a minimum cleaning requirement must be met (see notices in the chalets).
Heating system
The chalets are equipped with a remotely controlled heating system. The settings are adjusted for optimal and reasonable use. Any detected misuse may be charged in addition to the rental cost.
Arrival and departure times
-Weekend rental: from Friday 4 p.m. to Sunday 5 p.m.
-Weekday rental: Monday 4pm to Friday 10am
-Weekly rental: from Saturday 4 p.m. to the following Saturday 10 a.m.
Please respect the arrival and departure times.
Health and safety
Tenants and occupants agree to respect and enforce the safety instructions put in place by PEP 33; both in common and outdoor areas, the hygiene, safety, environmental, legislative or regulatory rules, as well as the related instructions issued by PEP 33.
For hygiene reasons, mattresses should not be used without sheets.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited, both in enclosed communal spaces and indoors.
Animals are strictly prohibited on the site.
Obligations
Wifi Charter: The Falgouët Wifi network allows internet browsing. It also allows sending emails via email software. Each user is legally responsible for their use of this connection. They agree to respect the rules of computer ethics and, in particular, to use their access code strictly for personal purposes and to use the resources made available to them in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and specifically:
- do not visit sites that are racist, pedophilic or incite hatred and violence.
- not to commit crimes and acts of piracy that infringe on the rights of others and the safety of persons.
- not to intentionally carry out operations which could result in masking one's true identity, appropriating another user's password, altering or modifying data or accessing information belonging to other network users, interrupting or disrupting the normal operation of the network or any of the systems connected to the network, modifying or destroying information on any of the systems, or connecting or attempting to connect to a site without authorization.
Tenants and occupants agree to take care of the premises and furniture entrusted to them during their stay. They are also asked not to mix dishes from different chalets and the multipurpose room.
The tenant is responsible for the set of keys entrusted to them. In case of loss, a charge of €30 will be applied.
The tenant is responsible for the actions of the visitors he/she receives.
It is strictly forbidden to introduce or trade in any illicit product or to engage in any act punishable by law.
Tenants and occupants are required to observe rules of decorum, both in their behavior and in their language towards other tenants and neighbors.
All music production (indoors and outdoors) is strictly prohibited.
Personal display is not permitted.
In case of an accident, the relevant emergency services and the PEP 33 association should be notified; their contact details are displayed on the premises.
During their stay, tenants and occupants are responsible for the regular maintenance of the chalet(s) and/or the multipurpose room.
The barbecue is available for all tenants in the village. It is the responsibility of each individual to ensure its proper functioning and to clean it after use.
Motorized vehicles (cars, 2 wheels…) must be parked in the designated parking area.
Sanctions
PEP 33 reserves the right, in the event of any action contravening the articles of the internal regulations, to terminate the rental contract with immediate effect.
Property preservation procedures, GDPR
As part of their quality and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) approach, PEP 33 implements a procedure to preserve tenant property ensuring that everything is in place to ensure data protection.
The information collected is intended for the exclusive use of PEP 33. In accordance with the law, the tenant has the right to access, rectify, and delete personal data. To do so, please send a request to: contact@lespep33.org.
